Mentor (• to •••••)

Effect: Each dot in Mentor grants one or more topics being learned by the apprentice: a single Attribute, a single Arcanum, two Skills, two Merits or one Skill and one Merit. Rating in Mentor also determines how frequently training scenes occur. Each game where a training scene occurs gains the character +1 XP, to be applied only to those categories being taught. Finally, each level also gives a maximum rating in those traits, as a rough guideline, that the Mentor can teach.

  • Helpful (•): The mentor has some useful information, and fair knowledge of his subject matter (maximum ratings of 3), but can't commit much time to the training.
