Jefferson Scrap reads the sign above the fence-gate that leads into the massive junkyard off of Oregon Route 22, where Pamella Road begins its trundle up toward Mount Jefferson proper. The old auto yard is a half-acre of old auto, logging, and industrial scrap that is considered to be a hidden treasure trove by classic car enthusiasts and mechanics alike.

But the scrapyard also hides the entrance, through an old rusted out, half-buried school bus, into the Mount Jefferson Temple of the Aegis Kai Doru. At the bottom of the makeshift stairs lies an old mining rail, and a standing phone. The line reaches only the interior of the temple's security office, who are empowered to interrogate those on the other end to ascertain their identities before they send the small electric car down the rail-line to pick up those who seek entry.

The Temple is entirely subterranean, with a complex ventilation system deliberately designed as a means of escaping the temple should the worst happen (the network of tunnel-vents emerge in various places all up and down the mountainside). This network of tunnel vents also serve as the labyrinth used by the Temple to initiate its newest members.

The heart of the complex has a dozen barracks rooms with four bunks per room (most of which go entirely unused), a modest mess-hall and kitchen, a training ground, library, bath facilities, as well as living suites for the Kopis and members of the Temple faction who live in-facility permanently.

Membership

Kopis

"The Old Man" • Status •••• (The Sword)
The head of the Mount Jefferson Temple is a busy man. He is frequently traveling, leaving Malcolm and Ramona in charge of the Temple while he is away. Isokrates is a skilled hunter, and wields a potent broadsword that traces its history back to the Crusades. His Vigil has led him against all manner of creatures, but he is said to be particularly feared by witches, who he is a specialist at battling.

Doru

The Doru of a Temple are its teachers and foremost hunters, excepted to be instructors and leaders of strike teams.

The Warden • Status ••• (The Temple)
Malcolm rarely leaves the Mount Jefferson Temple, although he does spend lots of time in the scrapyard rebuilding cars. He's a hell of a mechanic and an engineer, as well as a marksman. He seems to have a lazy disregard for everyone around him, but Isokrates trusts him deeply.
Ramona.jpg
Ramona
The Archivist • Status ••• (The Scroll)
Ramona knows the Aegis of Mt. Jefferson reassure one another when one of them has a question that the others don't know the answer to. She keeps the Mt. Jefferson archives, a modest library of supernatural lore, but most importantly, she is extremely knowledgeable in the Aegis's particular version of the Vigil.

Xiphos

A Xiphos is an experienced hunter: useful and capable, but who hasn't made a name for themselves yet.

Aspis

An Aspis is an inexperienced hunter in the Aegis, expected to do grunt work and learn fast...assuming they live that long.
