Meggie is Ryan (Storm)'s grandmother and Enula's younger sister. She lives on an Idaho ranch near the Penn family.

Enula

Enula is Storm's great aunt, sister to his grandmother, Meggie, on his mother's side. As Ryan grew up "Aunt Dorothy" was the link to the old country. She was the only member of the English side of the family that hadn't fully distanced themselves from Meggie when she ran off to America and married a cowboy. She had visited the family in Idaho a few times when Ryan was young, but he mostly knew her from photo albums and Christmas cards (he always thought that her signing them "Happy Yuletide" was an English thing) until he woke up in jail after awakening.

Enula is the matriarch of a witch family, awaiting the awakinging of her decenants. When Ryan mysteriously ended up in jail Meggie knew her sister could help, and it was Enula that arranged for him to be transfered into Sunia's care. When the Vernal Sanctuary closed Enula used the opprotunity to foster her great-nephew and teach him the magic that was his birthright.
