- deemed unfit for breeding, which placed him even lower than males normally are in a selonian family
- when he was still just a pup his force abilities began to manifest in a most distressing way; his empathic and telepathic abilities began to connect non-selonian's to the hive mind
- the selonian queen was quick to have him handed off to the nearest surfacer available in order to distance him from her family, in short order he wound up with the Jedi with whom he has lived the majority of his life
- naturally gifted with Sense powers
- 6' 2" tall
- a twi'lek youngling at the Jedi Temple named Aayla gave him his new name, Nerra, which means "brother" in Twi'leki.
