An ancient tradition of solar magic found originally in the Golden Sun system, the Refulgent use sunlight to weave illusions and amplify light with their arts. Though they were once only capable of such feats in direct sunlight, they now often mount ''imani'' stones to their head, breast, and arms to draw upon for power.

The blood-witches of the ''Tsusni Shulam'' are rightly feared throughout the Four Suns for their cunning and blood-sorcery. Though their tradition originated in the Blood Imperium (though it predates that empire), sisters of the ''Shulam'' can be found throughout the systems - they are unabashedly mercenary in their endeavors, and willing to use their talents to the benefit of others. There are three primary disciplines among the ''Shulam'': the healers, the poisoners, and the lifewrights.

Firewind Adepts

The Firewind Adepts are an informal tradition of magicians who formed in the early days of sun-ship exploration. Their founder, Avajiya of the Firewind, was a Rastramal sorceress who accompanied some of the original explorations of other systems. When she found elementalist traditions focused on fire and wind, she learned those techniques, and took from among their folk apprentices. Today, they are a tradition of sailor-magi who master gifts not only of elemental fire and air, but also strange arts that allow them some measure of control over the solar winds, boosting the power and maneuverability of sun-ships in flight.

Tsusni Shulam

The blood-witches of the Tsusni Shulam are rightly feared throughout the Four Suns for their cunning and blood-sorcery. Though their tradition originated in the Blood Imperium (though it predates that empire), sisters of the Shulam can be found throughout the systems - they are unabashedly mercenary in their endeavors, and willing to use their talents to the benefit of others. There are three primary disciplines among the Shulam: the healers, the poisoners, and the lifewrights.
