On the far Eastern end of the Marukan Plains lies the city of Mishaka.

This relatively small walled city is famous for the Battle of Mishaka that occured there nearly 15 years ago. On the plains west of the City and around the base of the walls of the city itself the Army of Thorns, supported by "advisory" forces from the Realm lost a major confrontation with the forces of the Seventh Legion, Great Forks, and various mercenary forces from Nexus and the Hundred Kingdoms. The Battle of Mishaka is famous today for being the last major conflict between the Confederation and the Realm and for being the last battle in which First Age weapons were deployed in the River Province.

Mishaka is famous for their hatred of mercenaries and Nexus as a result of being extorted by mercenary forces at the end of the Battle of Mishaka.
