|Status=Greater God/dess of Magic
Those who seek to suppress the use of arcane magic have much to fear from the avengers of Aeldryn. Dark-eyed assassins who prefer spell over blade, it is said there exists a secret order of Aeldrynite holy assassins called the Occult Oath, who are known by the tattoos they bear at breast, wrists and base of spine. They expect the aid of all practitioners of arcane magic when called upon; most of the time, they receive it.

===Clerics of Aeldryn===
The spell-saints of the Aeldrynite church are among the rarest of the Empyrean priests. Unlike the other gods, they are mostly unconcerned with the needs of a congregation or worshippers: church theology says that those who practice the arcane arts are best suited to serving themselves. Instead, many Aeldrynite clerics work to mitigate and diminish the damaging effects of magic that lingers, twisted by wicked intent or strange phenomena.

===Invokers of Aeldryn===

In the theology of Aeldryn, invokers are referred to as Ancient Vessels. They are individuals who have come into contact with magic of some kind and not only been unaffected by that magic, but absorbed it into their very souls, containing it for the rest of their lives, awakening the power of the invoker. It is said that Aeldryn's invokers can hear the storm-wind whispers of their god/dess in moments of meditation.

===Paladins of Aeldryn===
Aeldrynite paladins frequently act as defenders of arcane magicians, particularly those who occupy important positions within the Aeldrynite church. Perhaps a third of the church's paladins are knight-errants, seeking to destroy threats that come from magic gone out of control, or rescuing young sorcerers from witch-burning mobs.

==Orders and Locations==
Other than the church of Aevo, no other Empyrean church boasts so many runepriests. A slowly unfolding narrative has developed over the centuries in the church's theology: its runepriests believe that the runes created in the splitting of the Astral Sea and the Elemental Chaos are more than a side-effect of that act of creation. Exactly what purpose they will serve in the far-off future is unknown, but the runepriests hold to their duty to recovery as much of the sigil-lore as they might with a scholar's fervor.

Origins
Aldinmure is one of the greater Empyrean gods, created at the dawn of the world. The moment Aevo reached into the strange potential of the Astral Sea to change it according to his whim - the first act of magic - he was plunged into a whirling maelstrom of pure magical power: the Spellstorm. Out of the interaction between this storm of pure magical potential and Aevo's divine will, Aeldryn was born, dancing the eternal Spelldance. S/he embraced Aevo, then kissed him, and whispered to him of all the arts of magic.
The Spellstorm (Heaven)
The potent and eternally-raging storm of pure magical power that is the Spellstorm is the realm of Aeldryn, the deity of magic. Those who wielded occult power in life without being cast screaming into one of the Hells for their abuses of power come to rest here, where they can indulge in their love of shaping magical power for all of eternity. This realm is extremely reactive to a magician's will, allowing them to reshape the nature of pockets of this realm's power. At the center of the arcane maelstrom is the Citadel of Aeldryn, a floating citadel of tall spires that is the home of the deity of magic and his/her sorcerous angelic servants.
