Embedments
- Martial Embedment: Martial embedments are rooted in a warrior's arm. Viksya weapons used in that hand can be activated via silent mental command rather than through the use of activating flourishes.
Weapons
Viksya weapons are often activated by some means. This is always done either through a specific flourish (a gesture or movement pattern with the item) or by silent command using a martial embedment. Flourishes take a minor action to use, but embedment commands are free actions.
- Chakram Bracer: A specially-crafted chakram and bracer designed with thevaqan patterns that cause them to bear immense sympathy for one another. The chakram is usually mounted to the bracer, and may be used as a buckler when so. It can be easily plucked from the bracer's setting and thrown as a normal attack. The weilder may then activate a charge from his bracer's imani, causing the chakram to fly back to his bracer's mounting.
- Raviasti: Also called "sollocks", these devices resemble the stocks of crossbows without the bow or string. Instead, they bear a resonating spike of thevaqan and qamani, with space for imani in the weapon's grip. When activated, a bolt of white-hot sunfire is projected from the weapon's tip, flying like an arrow of flame and light to strike enemies. There are two main styles of sollock: raviasti which are wielded in a single hand (xxx damage, single imani socket, 1 charge per shot) or maharaviasti which are weilded like great crossbows (xxx damage, three imani sockets, 2 charges per shot).
- Sunsabres: Curving qamani blades with hilt and traceries of thevaqan, and a socket for an imani in crossguard or hilt. The weapon inflicts xxx damage normally, but the wielder may activate a charge from its imani and heat the glass blade with sunlight. The next target it strikes takes an additional +1d6 heat damage.
