Projects Order

Running Counterintelligence
  • Veles Personal: 0
  • Lamplighters: 4
  • Project: Devil's Deal: 5
    • Objective: Seize control over Faust Security Systems. (Veles)
  • Project: Briar: 15
    • Objective: To investigate the Guardians of the Hidden Thorn, to ascertain the existence of any plants, double-agents or other active threats or traitors. (Veles)
  • Project: Shepherd: Government 0, Media/Intelligence 0, Religious 8, Police/Military 0, Finances 0, Technology 0
    • Objective: Investigate Sleeper institutions looking for Seers influence, in this order: government (Hegemonic), media and intelligence (Panopticon), churches (Paternoster), police and military (Praetorian), finance (Mammon), technology (Pantechnicon). Investigation should be performed by those with access to Querelous Minds (Fate ••, Prime •), likely by having someone cast that spell on the investigators.
      • Government (Mathers)
      • Media/Intelligence (Saturday, Compline)
      • Religious (Mathers)
      • Police/Military (Mathers)
      • Finances (Saturday, Compline)
      • Technology (Saturday, Compline)
  • Project: Vajra: 13 (Veles, Reed, Dominic)
    • Objective: To investigate King and Adamant Security, answering the following questions:
      • How do they communicate? When not in person, what is their primary method of communication? (Reed, Dominic)
      • Who are the Sleepers and Sleepwalkers that interact with their business on a regular basis? Are they protected? (Veles)
      • What resources do they have access to, individually and as a cabal? (Reed, Dominic)
      • Investigate the backgrounds of individual cabal members. (Veles)
      • Find someone in the cabal who is turnable as a double agent. Ascertain dirty secrets and blackmail. (Veles)
    • Results
      • You do have a decent analysis on their communication. They mostly talk in person, having a meetin at least once every couple of days. Cellphone calls are encrypted and short. Their talks are mostly scheduling. With the occasional conversation about an urgent situation when it crops up. You have also noted that cabal members occasionally call King and say that they need to talk. They then hang up, and go silent. It looks like telepathic communication.
      • For the most part they work out of their warehouse/office near Milwaukie. This is the Cabal's sanctum and where they handle their business with other Mages.
      • Their Main business is Diamond Protective Services. A very large security firm in Portland. It handles both security system installation/monitoring and on site security guards. It also has a small private investigation branch. DPS maintains a small group of Sleepwalkers (3 total) who act as Executive Protection / Merecnary response. All of them are ex Military and vary well trained. When Adamant Security gets ready for a nasty situation they get called in to their warehouse.
      • King is listed as a Board Member of Diamond Protective Services. A sleepwalker is the CEO. King spends a lot of his in person time meeting up with individuals in both local government and business. He also has had lunch with several individuals working in both the FBI and DEA.
      • Verne owns a gun store / machine shop. She does custom work. Verne has a lot of police officers coming through her shop and using her private range.
      • Howard works as a bodyguard, and typically contracts out through DPS.
      • Octavia. Doesn't seem to have any direct business interests. And it is very hard to figure out where she spends her time online.
  • Project: Watchman: People of the Book 0, River Wardens 0, Lamplighters 0, Reclamation House 0, Diamond Rose 0
    • Objective: Investigate the members of cabals who have Guardians among them. No Guardian will investigate his own cabal. These will be investigated in two-man teams:
      • People of the Book (Dominic, Compline)
      • River Wardens (Veles, Compline)
      • Lamplighters (Mathers, Reed)
      • Reclamation House (Veles, Compline)
      • Diamond Rose (Saturday, Reed)
  • Project: Alighieri: 0 (Veles)
    • Objective: Investigate the background and connections of Dante, of the People of the Book. (Veles)
  • Project: Anarchy: Emerald Dream 0, Seattle Liberation Front 0, Puget Sound Research Institute 0
    • Objective: Investigate the cabals from Seattle who have settled in Portland, as it would be too easy for a Seer to have replaced or simply joined up with the refugees. (Other Guardians)
      • Emerald Dream (X)
      • Seattle Liberation Front (X)
      • Puget Sound Research Institute (X)
  • Project: Diaspora: 0
    • Objective: Seek potential Guardian recruits among the Free Councilors who survived Seattle, giving them a chance to be part of the Order that comes up against the Seers most often. (Veles)
  • Project: John Wayne: 0 (Other Guardians)
    • Objective: Investigate those magi who are in Portland without membership in a cabal. (Other Guardians)
  • Project: Scepter: Hierarch 0, Councilors 0, Sentinels 0, Heralds 0, Seekers of the Sublime Truth 0, Radio Free Portland 0, Olympians 0, Vox Populi 0
    • Objective: Investigate the following. (Veles, plus Trusted)
      • Hierarch (X)
      • Councilors (X)
      • Sentinels (X)
      • Heralds (X)
      • Seekers of the Sublime Truth (X)
      • Radio Free Portland (X)
