These are my hands
These are my children
And this is my demand
Bring down the angels
Cast them from my sight
I never want to see
A million suns at midnight
When the Angels Fall, Sting

That it should be abandoned and paved over, that the people still in it are not worth saving. But some people still choose to live in Detroit, and a few of them even try and make it a better place.
