Mental Conditions
Addicted (Persistent)
|
Addicted to a substance. Must indulge regularly, accepting the Intoxicated Condition or become Deprived. Possible Sources: alcoholism, substance abuse. Resolution: Regain a dot of Integrity, lose another dot of Integrity, or achieve an exceptional success on a breaking point. Beat: Your character chooses to get a fix rather than fulfill an obligation, or accepts the Intoxicated Condition before attempting them. |
Amnesia (Persistent)
|
Missing a portion of memory. Possible Sources: Physical or psychological trauma, mental powers. Resolution: You regain your memory and learn the truth. Depending on the circumstances, this may constitute a breaking point. Beat: Something problematic arises, such as a forgotten arrest warrant or old enemy. |
Bestial
|
Act on animal impulse, running from or lashing out at threats. -2 to resist frenzy or base impulse. -2 Defense. Rolls to compel aggression or flight are exceptional at 3 successes. Possible Sources: Mental powers Resolution: Cause damage in someone's last three Health boxes Beat: n/a |
Broken (Persistent)
|
Emotionally shattered; -2 to Social and Resolve rolls, -5 to Intimidation rolls. Possible Sources: Tremendous psychological trauma, mental powers. Resolution: Regain or lose a dot of Integrity, or achieve an exceptional success on a breaking point. Beat: You back down from a confrontation or fail a roll due to this Condition. |
