Cartwright RC is a medium-care facility, intended for those who need round-the-clock care for weeks or months. There are security cameras in the lawn. The interiors of the building also have a radial layout (or at least building 2) with second floor rooms boasting French doors onto balconies. Two rooms share the front balcony, with four sharing the back.

The Cartwright Recuperative Clinic is a private medical recovery facility. It was founded in 1997 by Dr. Edmund Bishop, after he retired from active service with the Navy as a medical officer. The facility's care is focused on veterans' issues, including those with combat injuries and mental issues.
