  • Changing shape uses a great deal of bodily energy, hyper-charging the metabolism.
  • As a result, at the end of any full shapeshift, a werewolf is as hungry as if he'd not eaten in 24 hours.
  • This is cumulative over multiple shifts, meaning that werewolves who try and shift too rapidly and too often can actually starve to death.
  • This is reflected in the Hungry, Ravenous and Starving Tilts

Wolf's Appetite

Types of food consumed when Ravenous or Starving is based on difference between Primal Urge and Harmony ratings.

  • Harmony is equal or higher: Normal human food is sufficient.
  • Primal Urge is 1-2 points higher: The food eaten must be meat.
  • Primal Urge is 3-4 points higher: The food eaten must be meat, and it must be raw.
  • Primal Urge is 5+ points higher: The food eaten must be raw human flesh.
Hungry
Effects: All Resistance rolls have a -1 penalty to the dice pool. This penalty can be overcome with the expenditure of a Willpower for one scene. If The amount of time without food reaches the character's Stamina in days, upgrade this Condition to Ravenous.
Cause: Going without food for twelve hours.
End: Eating enough for a meal.
Werewolf: Encountering food without partaking causes a gain of 1 Rage for the werewolf with this Tilt.
