The Belfast Fanum is actually located slightly outside of the city of Belfast proper, to its west on a hill. The Naos Group purchased the old Castle Fennessey, a castle that stands on a site where an old Celtic hill-fort once stood. Supposedly, this hill-fort had once hosted the Fenians.
