- A plant that closely orbits its sun, with a very swift orbit.
- The only reason life was able to form here was due to the volcanic ash in the atmosphere, providing radiation shielding and retention of warmth. Also causes brilliant crimson washes of light at dawn and dusk.
- Severe axial tilt causes poles to be significantly colder (and thus avoided by the native species).
- Oxygen-rich world covered in rainforests with trees of immense size.
- Upper canopy is wide and bright, with broad leaves and thick vines used in construction by the Ho'Din.
- Middle layer features extensive symbiotic plant life, including carnivorous plants.
- Lower layer is quite dark, with thick, rich soil beds that propogate a quick decay cycle. The Makurth live in the roots of the massive trees.
Species
Ho'Din
- Ho'Din are a species of tall humanoids with large black eyes and skin in green, yellow, blue, and orange hues, with strange snake-like stalks for hair.
- Though they claim to be descended from plants (mostly due to the botano-theological dint of their religion), they are classified as reptilians.
- They are renowned as some of the foremost botanists and ecologists in the galaxy, with the title "Master Gardener" earning great respect among them. They have extensive scholastic systems within their culture, mostly focused on basic learning and deep botanical and ecological education.
Makurth
- Makurth are a species of thickly muscled reptilian humanoids with a distinctive array of four facial horns and mostly green scales. They are carnivorous, with mouths full of savage-looking teeth.
- They are a tribal people, dwelling in villages deep in the shadowy floors of the rainforests, their dwellings tucked into the great root structures of the trees there.
- They are primarily hunters, with bands of Makurth (male and female) venturing out to the hunt during the day. About half the hunters of a populace remain behind to guard the village's young.
