Prefect

• Trance: (Age: 19; Time Manifested: 3 years). A young Sikh man of Punjabi origins, Trance is the prefect of the Beta class. He is extremely reclusive and stand-offish, as he sometimes has difficulty controlling his telepathic abilities. Despite this, he has proven to be quite a tremendous student and a good teacher as well. He has already expressed an interest in working with the Academy in a more permanent capacity once he graduates.

• Friction: (Age: 15; Time Manifested: 6 years). A fun-loving young Greek man, Friction's talent is the manipulation of the friction between his own body and the surfaces around him. He is capable of sliding across even the roughest terrain, or of wall-crawling by increasing the friction so much on his hands and feet that he can literally cling to surfaces. Friction is very skilled with the use of his power, though the studies Theogenes suggests he undertakes to understand it and its possibilities better simply bore him.

First Year Students

• (Code-Name-Needed): (Age: 13; Time Manifested: 1 year). A young Hawaiian girl, this student's talent involves the manipulation of fire. She also has the ability to generate fire, although that's an aspect that's almost entirely uncontrolled currently. As a shy, overweight girl, she sometimes falls victim to her own feelings of rejection and anger, which triggers her talent.
