• Favored: Rank 1. You are a favored member of the House. If you are a scion of the House, you have pleased the patriarch sufficiently to gain his notice. If you are an agent or retainer of the House, your efforts to aid the House have gone well-noted. • Lynchpin: Rank 3. You are given a position of some responsibility in the House's operations. If you are a scion of the House, the patriarch considers you one of the favored scions of the House, and consults with you on matters of House importance. If you are an agent or retainer, your contributions and skills in service of the House have won you a position of no small regard and respect in the patriarch's eyes - although that may earn you the jealousy of his blood kin who are less favored than you. |

Members of the Family
- Baelrun Nandar: Patriarch (Rank 10) • 78 years. Hidebound and pensive, Baelrun likes everything to be run a very specific way, and deviation from that way earns a great deal of scrutiny and ire. While this works marvelously for construction sites, the lives of the nobles of House Nandar are a little less fit for that philosophy, so Baelrun often finds himself at odds with other Nandars.
- Berlie Nandar: Consort (Rank 7) • 71 years. A woman once prone to imaginative suspicions and subsequent bouts of violence, Berlie has mellowed somewhat with age. She hails from a staunchly Malarite family with roots around the old Nandar hunting lodge in Ardeep Forest, and she is a faithful adherent of Malarite religion.
- Stury Nandar: Regent; patriarch's nephew (Rank 8) • 37 years. Most folk agree: Stury's son was chosen as heir out of all the possibilities in the House because Stury is a devoted Malarite, like Berlie. Prideful and something of a casanova, Stury's sons have different mothers, who he never married, instead bringing the sons into House Nandar after paying off his former lovers. It is agreed that he likely has daughters out in Waterdeep and beyond as well - he's just never bothered to seek any of them out for inclusion in House Nandar.
- Chostal Nandar: Heir (Rank 0) • 15 years. An avid young huntsman quite dedicated to the tenets of Malar's faith, Chostal is impatient. He is impatient for his adulthood, and the sort of liberation it brings. He is far more excited for his Malarite rites of adulthood (an extended hunt) than his Presentation. Despite his faith and his family, Chostal isn't a cruel boy - in fact, he is very charitable with both coin and the meat he brings back from the hunt, which often finds its way to the tables of Nandar construction workers whose families have fallen on hard times.
- Horingar Nandar: Stury's secondborn son (Rank 0) • 12 years. Greedy and prone to fits of rage, Horingar lacks the kind of self-awareness that Chostal exhibited at his age. The boy has a distinct sense of honor, however, willing to do whatever it takes to either make amends for a wrong-doing or to repay someone who showed him favor.
