When he is away from his order, Rigel tries to keep up a journal. It helps him process his thoughts and keep his focus on the light of celestials.

Origin

Rigel was given to the Order of the Angels at an early age. His parents could not take the ridicule and shame from their neighbors and peers. Rigel grew up believing it was the best for all. As the celestials taught him. His demon heritage, no matter how small, but be kept under control and constantly purged from him heart. As the celestials taught him.

  • Sexuality: Inexperienced. The order does not discourage sex, just some FORMS of sex, but sexual situation have made the teifling feel dirty. In a large part because he feels so ashamed of being a tiefling and who he is.

Divine Sense: As an action, until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type but not identity. You also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated.
Lay on Hands (15 HP): You have a pool of HP that replenishes when you take a long rest. As an action you can touch a creature to restore HP from your pool or use 5 HP to cure one disease or poison.
Divine Smite: When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one paladin spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st-level spell and 1d8 for each spell level higher. The damage increases 1d8 if target is undead or fiend.
Channel Divinity:

  • Sacred Weapon: Action: imbue one weapon you are holding. For 1 minute add CHA mod to attack rolls. Weapon also emits bright light in a 20-foot radius. It is magical.
  • Turn the Unholy: Action: each fiend or undead within 30 ft. must make a wisdom save. If it fails it is "turned" for 1 min or until damaged.
    • Turned creatures spend turn trying to move away and can't willing move to a space within 30 feet of me. It also can't make reactions. It can use Dash command.
