Inter-Order. The People of the Book are focused on religious institutions throughout Portland, and work diligently to foster understanding and cooperation between various faith based organizations. Members:

  • Mather(Obrimos Guardian of the Veil): There are constant rumors of a deep hatred running between Mather and Stoughton, the Hirearch of Salem. In his mundane identity, Mather is a local Catholic Priest. He took his name from Increase Mather and not his son Cotton Mather. He also avoids joining a Legacy as a matter of philosophy.
  • Dante(Mastigos Mysterium Clavicularius, Provost): Dante is a Professor of Literature at the University of Portland.
  • Balthazar(Obrimos Mysterium Eyes of Ain Sophoth) – Balthazar is both a local Rabbi and teacher of Cabbala, maintaining a more traditional stance on who is proper to be taught.
  • Wren(Moros Silver Ladder Tamer of Stone) – Named after Sir Christopher Wren, architect of St. Pauls. Wren is one of the most sought after Arhitects for the design and restoration of ecclesial building in Portland. While his design are beautifull in a strictly mundane sense, he also designs the
  • Alvin (Acanthus Free Council) – Named After Alvin Boyd Kuhn. Alvin is a local writer, who has written a number of books on the history of religion. He specializes in looking for common metaphysical origin points for religions, despite the fact that he will vehemently deny the existence of Atlantis.
