Background
Diego is a teenager possessed of genius level intelligence. However, at about 2, his body's aging process dramatically slowed down. He now grows physically at a rate of approximately one month every year. He gets around in public in a wheelchair. He wears an interface to his wheelchair, as well as his battle suit. Actually, his wheelchair IS his battle suit, as it has the capability of transforming into his battle suit. In his suit, he is just over 6ft tall, and he controls it from a chamber in the torso. His interface is a wraparound headset which is connected to his brain via the electromagnetic field created by his brain.
Diego's parents are aware that he is well above average intellectually, and they have encouraged him for his entire life, though it did take some time for them to recognize that his intellect had continued to develop at a normal rate even though his body did not. His father is a retired Naval officer, who now runs his own business. His mother has not worked since Diego was born. Instead, she has done everything that she can to get him the help he needs.
