A-rated corps are international, though just barely in many cases. The only time they are owned by megacorps is when their growth has been strong in recent years, drawing the attention of one of the AAA corps. In such an instance, these corporations are usually purchased and put up for test - if the corporation's management proves itself, they are made full subsidiaries of the corp. Anything less than stellar growth results in the firing of the management and the reallocation of valuable materials and personnel to other parts of the megacorp.
