History

House Maerklos is perhaps the newest of the Houses, technically founded in 1332 DR with the marriage of Aldara Marrek to Bastiabas Relekos. House Marrek's fortunes had waned for generations, and the wealthy Relekos sought admittance into the nobility of Waterdeep, so their dynasties were combined into a new, single House: House Maerklos.

Aldara Marrek: Canny and well-thought-of, Aldara has the Sight that has always marked the Marrek bloodlines, and has passed that on to her daughter as well.
Bastiabas Relekos: Sole heir of the rich Relekos clan, whose fortunes were made with hundreds of pigfarms throughtout the North, Bastiabas swore to his father that he'd find a way for their family to move forward as nobles of Waterdeep, and with the marriage to Aldara, he fulfilled that oath.
Tehss Maerklos: Literally the first-born of House Maerklos, Tehss is a wizard of some skill, talents that seem to have come hand-in-hand with the Sight she inherited from her mother.
