Following the crazed aggression of mad Lord Urgon Blackwood, Widow's Rest, its lands and incomes were claimed by Lord Angelo Deltario. Lord Angelo in turn raised up his house hold knight Ser Mortimer, known as the Hammer of Dawn, making him Lord of the sprawling Castle of Widow's Rest. Ser Mortimer and his new bride, Lady Bethany have begun repairing the damage that the mad Lord Urgon had caused.

The Widow Wood
Nestled between the mountains that run beside the Boneway and strange, sprawling castle Widow's Rest are the Widow Wood. Once a thick, foreboding forest, Lord Urgon clear cut much of the forest, reducing it to a thin patch of alpine timber. (Mountains, Light Woods. Lands: 12)
