Gevana are natives of the Golden Sun system, indigenous to the world nearest the sun. They all stand over six feet in height, with long, narrow-chinned heads and very thin frames. They are exceedingly graceful in composure and movement, and have six digits on the end of their limbs. Their skin is jet-black, with textures that ranges from smooth matte to pebbled to striated (as though wind across the sand) to somewhat smooth and reflective. Their eyes are delicate compound structures the color and appearance of gemstones, but these are rarely seen, for the gevana have a set of nictating silvery eyelids they keep closed over their eyes. These "sunlids" can be seen through, and they darken all light sufficiently to permit the geveana to see no matter how bright the light is.

  • Add 1 to your Intelligence Ability.
  • Pick one of the following Ability Focuses: Intelligence (Research) or Willpower (Self-Discipline).
  • Your Speed is equal to 12 + Dexterity (minus armor penalty if applicable).
  • Sleepless: You halve all penalties associated with exhaustion and lack of sleep.
  • Desert-Born: You are a creature of the blazing deserts. You do not require water whatsoever, deriving all such needs from food you consume. Your eyes are protected by nictating silvery lids which make you immune to light-based blindness, whether as an attack or part of the environment.
  • Roll once on the Gevana Racial Benefits chart. These reflect inborn traits and natural tendencies in your folk, rather than anything you were trained or raised to.
