History
Archos Kiwalkar is the Sea Folk/Night Folk child to a Sea Folk female and Night Folk male who are in a star marriage with another Sea Folk male. He was raised in Elsport by his Sea Folk mother and her Sea Folk husband who were importers and traders. His father was a Night Folk armsman for hire and traveled quite a bit for work and to find jobs. He has an older brother and younger sister who are both Sea Folk, and an older Sister who is also a Sea Folk/Night Folk hybrid like he is. From his mother and her husband he learned the business of the sea trade and import business, and from his father he learned how to fight. By the time he was an adolescent, his stocky build and skill with fighting had earned him the nickname "Seawolf", with which he became commonly known.
Offspring of Seafolk and Nightfolk are not unheard of, but still relatively uncommon. As an adolscent, Seawolf became friends with the High Priest of the Temple of Gaelenir. This High Priest never treated him as an outsider or as the "weird one", but would spend hours of his time allowing Seawolf to hang out in the temple and follow him about his daily tasks.
Seawolf treats his need for daily submersion in water as a daily devotional practice to Gaelenir, which he learned from the High Priest.
- Gaelenir, god of exploration, learning, the sea, and fortitude, is the Great Sage, Sea Lord, and Teacher. Scholars, navigators, and explorers call on him most, as do the seafolk, his special children. He dwells by the Well of Knowledge at the bottom of the sea and seeks to know all things. In legend, he withstood the temptations of the seven exarchs of Shadow so he could explore their realm. While Selene keeps secrets, Gaelenir uncovers them. Storms blowing in from the sea are said to be their arguments over how much to reveal to the world. The two gods are rumored to harbor a love that will only be consummated when all souls return to the Eternal Dance.
Through the High Priest, Seawolf became acquainted with Cosrian, who was a member of the Sovereign's Finest and also the High Priest's son. Cosrian had a strained relationship with the priest, but still, he would stop through Elsport occasionally, and it was on these stops that he met Seawolf. He quickly noticed Archos' talent for fighting and took him under his wing and began to train him, informally at first, and then more formally.
Level 1 to 2: Seawolf officially becomes a member of the Sovereign's Finest and leaves Elsport with Cosrian.
At some point Cosrian and Seawolf meet Rona Bellavina, a rhydan wolf. She has heard of the Sovereign's Finest and is interest in trying to join, however, she is having trouble communicating with Cosrian. Having compassion, Archos reaches out to her and she begins to join Cosrian and Seawolf on their travels.
Seawolf and Rona train with Cosrian.
I meet Joshi in the city of Aldis and begin an affair with him
Cosrian becomes corrupt
Rona and Seawolf must track Cosrian down and somehow in the course of trying to stop him we must kill him. This is the formation of our rhy-bond.
Cosrian had been becoming more erratic over time. Becoming angrier more easily. Making rash decisions. But nothing specific we could put our finger on. One night he came to us and told us we had been given an assignment to track down a criminal, a woman named Shinzara. He wouldn’t tell us many details only that she was dangerous and that it was imperative that we find her. He became angry and agitated when we questioned him. We reluctantly went along with him. We were unable to locate Shinzara but Cosrian did find her family. We went with him there. Cosrian attempted to… interrogate them. It was much harsher than we expected. They were in agony. Shinzara arrived at that moment and a battle ensued. As we fought, it became apparent that Cosrian had no intention of arresting Shinzara, he struck her down. In our attempt to stop him, we also, unfortunately, took Cosrian’s life.
Racial & Warrior Class Powers
- Dark Sight: You are able to see up to 20 yards in darkness (including deep under water) without a light source.
- Swimming: Swim at your Speed as a minor action
- Blowfish powers activate: Hold breath 72 rounds
- Gurl, I'm thirsty: You must be immersed in water once per day or consume twice as much water as a normal human. A sea-folk with no immersion and who is limited to normal human water consumption or less gains a level of fatigue each day and cannot recover from fatigue until they are properly hydrated.
- Weapons Groups: Brawling, Bows, Heavy Blades, Polearms, Light Blades
- Heroes' Armor: You are considered to have an armor rating of 1 even if you are not wearing armor at all
Talents
- Armor Training: Novice: You can wear Light and Medium Armor without suffering a penalty to Dexterity
- Quick Reflexes: Novice: You are prepared for action in an instant. Once per round you can use Ready as a free action on your turn.
- Dual Weapon Style:
- Novice- Wielding two weapons can aid you in attack or defense. If you take the Activate action, you gain either a +1 bonus on your melee attack rolls or a +1 Defense bonus vs. melee attacks until the end of the encounter. You can switch the bonus you are taking with another Activate action.
- Journeyman- You can perform the Lightning Attack combat stunt for 2 SP instead of the usual 3, but the extra attack must come from your secondary weapon.
- Master- You can overwhelm opponents with blows from both weapons. If you make a melee attack with your primary weapon and you are not charging, you can make another attack with your secondary weapon as a minor action. The second attack cannot generate stunt points, and you only add half your Strength (rounded down) to damage.
Stunt Bonus:You can strike so fast in combat your weapons are a blur. You can perform the Dual Strike combat stunt for 3 SP instead of the usual 4.
- Swashbuckler: Novice: Nothing gets in your way. If you fail a Dexterity (Acrobatics) test, you can reroll it, but must keep the results of the second roll. You can also perform the Taunt combat stunt for 1 SP instead of the usual 2.
Specializations
- Swashbuckler:It’s a life of adventure! While many face great risk seeking great rewards, for some the risks are rewards in and of themselves. Swashbucklers like nothing more than an opportunity to laugh in the face of danger and to show off their ability to handle it—not just with skill, but with style. Swashbucklers are the dashing rogues who swing from the rigging of pirate ships and leap from one careening wagon or horse to another, their tongues and their wits often as sharp as their blades.

Relationships
Rona Bellavina Rhy-bond, Intensity 3
Joshiin (Joshi) Desmarais Vata'an lover, Intensity 2 Joshi is a mid-level diplomat in the Sovereign's Court and an air shaper. He and Joshi first met a couple years ago. While not exclusively committed to each other, they have a passionate and affectionate relationship, built on their mutual appreciation of flirting with and short term romancing of women. When Seawolf is in Aldis, he will often stay with Joshi and the two of them will "date", however briefly, a woman, or sometimes another gentleman. This dating might be as brief as one night, or it might be for a week or a month. Their flings are somewhat notorious. But regardless of who else they end up entangled with, the two of them always seem to maintain their bond. Neither of them are under any misconceptions that they have an ultimate commitment to each other, but it's undeniable that there is real love and affection between them.
