Marginalized (Persistent)

Where you live, there is an often open bias against someone of a social group to which you belong. It might be gender-based, ethnicity-based, orientation-based, based on physical appearance or capability, or any number of other such criteria. When encountering individuals who have a prejudice against your marginalized identity, gain a penalty of -1 to -3 (depending on their degree of bigotry) to all Social checks with them, and add +2 Doors and worsen Impressions by one step for Social Maneuvering. Possible Sources: Living in an area with active cultural prejudices Resolution: Leaving that area Beats: Any time you make a Social check at the above penalties.
