This lake, called Lochgeamrath by the dwarves, is an immensely deep loch of crystalline, ice-cold water. Small fishing settlements can be found up and down its length, and as long as the sun is up and the weather fair, fishing boats can be found bobbing along its waters. The fish from the loch fetch a fine price in the Vale, although most dwarves seem to have little enough taste for it. The loch's southern edge is a tall escarpment of stone which acts as the backdrop for the lake. It is said that there is an outlet for the waters somewhere deep beneath the surface, as well, forming a river that winds away through the Underdark before surfacing again.
