Pike "The Grizzly of the North" Belabranta Patriarch's Cousin • Rank 3 In a House of hunters and beast-tamers, Pike stands out for his gruff demeanor. A griffon breeder and champion pankrator, Pike has a reputation as being somewhat simple, which those close to him know is mostly a ruse - he knows that people look at him and see a big dumb oaf, so he gives them that (though he has said he wishes people were as easy to deal with as griffons). More than a few of his opponents - on and off the sands - have made that mistake. Ciro has indicated that they were once romantically involved, but are merely friends (albeit of the intimate variety) now.
