He is largely a distant tyrant these days, with little to say to anyone but his wife and son. Servants and family members alike scatter when he strides through the Zulpair estate, however, which he does with a straight back and strong stride, showing no signs whatsoever of letting age slow him down.
	Anyla Zulpair Consort (Rank 9) • 68 years Gentle where her husband is harsh, and cunning where he is straightforward, Anyla wields just as much power as he does in the House, save for the legal kind. She more than makes up for it in her social currency, however - Anyla Zulpair has long been one of the movers-and-shakers in Waterdhavian society, and she has seen other women introduced into society as girls and seen them exit it for anonymity, disgrace, or death, where she yet remains. She is fond of wearing jewelry featuring great rubies, a reminder of her House's source of wealth.
	Gerath Zulpair Heir (Rank 9) • Firstborn son • 53 years The fleet captain for the Zulpair fleet, Gerath is most at home on the sea. His strong leadership skills and love of the open sea ensure that he's not often at home, a fact that many in Waterdhavian society consider tragic in the extreme, for his booming, basso laugh and handsome eyes are always a welcome addition to social engagements.
	Yanica Zulpair Gerath's Consort (Rank 5) • 47 years Yanica, originally a cousin of House Gralhund, Yanica's quiet dignity and aloofness caught Gerath's eye. She led him a merry chase, though one that brought them closer together for all the evasion and social games involved.
	Qosvo Zulpair Gerath's Firstborn Son (Rank 3) • 27 years Though not a fan of shipboard life, Qosvo's dazzling charisma has served the House in quite good stead, employing him as a factor to deal with those merchants who employ Zulpair services in the shipping of their goods. That same charisma has won him a place in Waterdhavian society very similar to his grandmother's, some say - he will likely always be in favor, should he wish to retain that place.
	Zavoca Zulpair Gerath's Secondborn Daughter (Rank 1) • 24 years Zavoca is caught up in the swirl of Waterdhavian society. She's made it clear to her parents that she'd like to find a husband, first and foremost, and hopefully one who will never make her go anywhere near the sea again.
	Sarastyn "Bitchloved" Zulpair Gerath's Thirdborn Son (Rank 2) • 22 years First Mate aboard one of his father's ship, Sarastyn seems to be the only of Gerath's children to inherit his love for the sea. Even among his father's sailors, he's got a reputation as a good luck token - to date, no ship he's ever sailed on has ever been squalled, even in the stormiest of seasons. This has earned him a salty sort of nickname, "Bitchloved", among those sailors, who maintain that the Bitch Queen has taken a kind eye toward the handsome young man.

• Sharyl Zulpair: Patriarch's cousin (Rank 0) • 16 years. Sharyl is part of one of the cousin-branches of House Zulpair. She grew up away from the main estate, with her parents in a fine home in the Sea Ward, but with her coming of age she has accepted an invitation by Anyla to come and live at the main villa. She is a wildly independent young woman, considered vain by some, but utterly approachable, with a friendly word for everyone.
