Nimbus

• Magical “bleed” of Supernal power that comes as a result of drawing power down a Watchtower. Appears to those with “occult senses,” including Mage Sight, Unseen Sense and other supernatural sensory powers. Occasionally, it may also manifest to anyone, but this manifestation is always subconscious, triggering just below the level of conscious thought. People who experience a Nimbus subconsciously always experience a mood shift, and likely later dream of the mage responsible, as well as the more sensory elements involved.
• Appears when casting vulgar magic; only visible to occult senses.
• Also manifests when Virtue or Vice requirements are fulfilled; visible subconsciously to everyone.
• May also be Uncloaked 1/scene; if used thematically, can grant “equipment bonuses” to certain types of actions or inflict penalties to others' rolls. Must roll Composure + Occult as a reflexive action to uncloak, plus spend 1 Mana. Bonus dice equal successes rolled, or Gnosis, whichever is less.
