House Whitehill is a minor house in the service of House Tallhart. They were originally a household of landed knights, but through dedicated service were raised to lords. Like their leigelords, they maintain the Faith of the Seven, and the corresponding traditions of knighthood.

House Whitehill maintains only the domain whose name they bear, a small parcel of land and its smallfolk, with a white-pennanted tower to watch over it.

A simple domain set in the midst of the Barrowlands, with a small stream that runs into the Barrowwater. (Land Cost: Hills, Hamlet, Grassland, Ruin, Stream; 22 pts)

  • Whitehill Tower: Tower An old tower, more defensible than comfortable, Whitehill Tower is the seat of House Whitehill. Its castellan is Ser Trant Whitehill. (Defense: 10 pts)
  • Starfall Lancers: Veteran Cavalry The pride and joy of House Whitehill are their lancers, commanded by Ser Ethan. Named for the hereditary weapon of the House, Whitehill fields two units of these men. (Power: 20 pts)
  • Barley & Oats Fields: Food Agriculture Wealth Holding + Mill Improvement Whitehill has a thriving agricultural trade, producing more than enough for its own needs, and sufficient to be sold to House Tallhart and in the markets of Torrhen's Square. (Wealth: 5)

  • Lady Nyraia Whitehill (Ironsmith): Lady of House. A daughter of House Ironsmith, Lady Nyraia is a thick woman with bad eyesight. A convert to the Faith of the Seven, she is quite pious. (47 years)
  • Maester Ulman: Lord Torvyn's younger brother, Ulman is in service with a minor House of the Reach.
  • Ser Ethan Whitehill: Heir of House. A renowned tourney knight, Ser Ethan is a horseman of incredible skill, as well as a warrior of great experience and ability. (27 years)
  • Ser Trant Whitehill: Castellan of Whitehill. Ser Ethan's younger brother, Ser Trant spends most of his time at Whitehill proper, tending to the needs of the domain, with his wife Walya. (24 years)
  • Lollia Verant (Whitehill): The oldest of House Whitehill's daughters, Lollia is married to Ser Rogandar Verant, a household knight of House Tallhill. (22 years)
  • Edwyn Whitehill: The youngest of the brothers, Edwyn is in the South, training as a septon, much to his mother's joy. (20 years)
  • Donelle Whitehill: The younger sister of Ser Ethan, Donella is very clever, and a good singer. (16 years)
  • Walya Whitehill (Derryn): The daughter of a Ryswell knight, Walya is Ser Trant's wife and the current lady of the Whitehill household in Whitehill. She is well-known for her beers and stouts and would love nothing more than the opportunity to turn the grains of Whitehill into a distillery trade. Walya is expecting her second child. (19 years)
