Apprehensive
The loss of someone or something seems imminent, and you are terrified. You lose the 10-again effect on rolls unrelated to protecting the subject, and you suffer a -1 penalty to all actions when believing the subject is actively endangered. Anyone plausibly threatening the wrest the subject from you may apply the Leveraged Condition on you.
Possible Sources: Intimidation, Subterfuge
Resolution: Ensure the safety of the subject for good.
