Long guaranteed given over to the human settlers of the Vale, the Thanewood's outer edges are used for lumber and coppicing, by and large. Unlike the sinister Grinnirwood, it is a hunter's delight and sprinkled with hunting lodges that are rented to the wealthy for holidays.
