The Council of Reassignment is the portion of the Jedi Order that oversees the recruitment of Force-sensitives who failed either the Padawan or Knight Trials, encouraging them to lend their unique talents to one of the Jedi Service Corps organizations. Jedi who feel a calling to work in one of the Service Corps themselves often become part of the Council of Reassignment themselves - the Service Corps are for non-Jedi, though those who take employ with the Council of Reassignment are often practically indistinguishable from their brethren within the Service Corps.

Service Corps of the Chu'unthor
- Praxeum Security: Though not one of the formal Jedi Service Corps, the Council of Reassignment also oversees the Praxeum Security force. Those Force-sensitives with a talent for lightsaber combat, but who do not make the ranks of Padawan or Knight are often funneled into this organization.
- Agricultural Corps: An organization of Force-sensitive agriculturalists, biologists, and geologists, the AgriCorps aboard the Chu'unthor focuses its efforts on providing relief effort to systems within the praxeum ship's range who are experiencing blight or other agricultural or ecological disaster.
- Educational Corps: An order of archivists, educators, and researchers, the Educational Corps works closely with the Council of First Knowledge. Many of its members operate as researchers and librarians within the Archives, as well as interfacing with the various universities represented aboard the Chu'unthor.
- Explorer Corps: The ExplorCorps is made up of pilots, engineers, frontiersmen, cartographers, and archaeologists - all those who seek out what is new and forgotten at the edges of known space. They work closely with the Council of First Knowledge, and many of the non-Naval pilots aboard the Chu'unthor are Force-sensitives from this Corps. They often undertake missions to survey and examine points of interest within the ship's range.
- Medical Corps: The MedCorps has a large population aboard the Chu'unthor, who not only provide medical service to those aboard-ship, but also to the outlying systems in range of the Chu'unthor. MedCorps servicepersons often accompany Jedi missions where there is danger expected, or as relief service to places that are war- or plague-torn.
