A division of the Temple Security forces on Coruscant, the Praxeum Security forces wear similar robes and masks, save with blue accents rather than gold.

The Security forces are made up of a handful of Jedi who have invested themselves in the defense of the Chu'unthor, as well as a much larger number of Force Sensitives whose lightsaber prowess was undeniable, even if they did not move on to training as padawans.

To date, the Praxeum Security have been the only needed dedicated security forces aboard the ship; unsurprising, considering the literally thousands of trained Jedi willing and able to lend a hand when necessary in the defense of the ship and the maintenance of its peace. By tradition, Jedi defer to Praxeum Security in such situations.

Chain of Command

  • Councilor: Master Odalia Qyren. As the Battlemaster of the Chu'unthor, Master Qyren is also in command of the Praxeum Security forces, although her command is largely bureaucratic and organizational rather than practical - she is far too busy to oversee the Security forces on a daily basis.
  • Praxeum Security Commander: A single security officer reports directly to the Battlemaster. The Commander oversees the operations of the team as a whole.
  • Praxeum Security Captain: Beneath the Commander are nine Captains, with each in charge of a section of the ship: one for each of the Decks, with four overseeing the Instructional Deck. There is a small security office on each of the decks, in each of the sections in question, which acts as a base for the security teams in that section.
  • Praxeum Security Sergeant: A Sergeant is in charge of an individual squad - such squads are usually made up of a single Sergeant and four Officers, more than sufficient to tend to most disorderly or disruptive situations the Praxeum Security has to deal with. This is the lowest rank that Jedi assigned to the Praxeum Security may hold.
  • Praxeum Security Officer: The rank-and-file of the Security teams. They are made up solely of Force-sensitives.
