• Huulgos Hiilgauntlet: Patriarch (Rank 10) • 59 years. The old "Warmonger of Waterdeep," Huulgos is widely considered a dangerous fellow to do business with. Prone to babbling on about his glory days on the battlefield and with a reputation for going back on deals the minute he has the upper hand in any way, Waterdhavians like to say that only foreigners who don't know any better deal with Huulgos. Fortunately, most of his business dealings are handled by his son these days, and the patriarch is more and more reclusive.
• Jhassin Hiilgauntlet: Heir (Rank 7) • 34 years. Possessed of very strong opinions but with a kind streak a mile wide, Jhassin's business partners are very happy to work with him instead of his father. Jhassin is a practitioner of battle magics, and has served on the battlefield beside his House's troops before.
• Salu Hiilgauntlet: Jhassin's Consort (Rank 6) • 36 years. Jhassin's boyhood friend and intimate, Salu and Jhassin married as soon as both were of age to do so. They bonded over their unusual sorcerous gifts as youth, and neither hesitates to put their magic to good use. Salu is considered audacious by Waterdhavian society - in good and bad ways, often in equal measure - but she runs an orderly ship.
• Jhassin II Hiilgauntlet: Jhassin's Firstborn son (Rank 0) • 15 years. Everyone knows Jhassin II for his sudden manifestation of magical gifts - some say an inevitability, given who his parents are, but shocking and terrifying all the same. The formerly instinctively confident and charming young man has turned doubtful, plagued by his inability to fully control his power. His grandfather has suggested he be sent to one of the city's archmages to learn to control his power, but his parents are adamant: they will teach him, and they alone.
