Dran Wands Grandson of Maskar Wands One of Maskar's several grandchildren, Dran has - in his grandfather's opinion - spent "far too much time around other nobles, and nowhere near enough time in the family library." Since Dran demonstrated an inability to muster the discipline to learn magecraft in the family's fashion (despite having the talent for it), his grandfather arranged for him to apprentice to Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun. After apprenticing to him for two and a half years, Dran has left Blackstaff Tower to work in his family's business of providing materials for the magical arts.

Elranmyr Wands Falconfree (Herald of Waterdeep) Handsome and considered one of the most eligible bachelors in Waterdeep, Elranmyr is not only a scion of the Wands family, but is a member of the Heralds, fulfilling the office of Falconfree. He's one of the few Wands sons who is not magician - instead, he left his House when he reached his majority and adventured in the North, learning the arts of a ranger. He was recruited by the Heralds out of Silvermoon, and spent time studying at the Herald's Holdfast. He was recently made Falconfree when the old Falconfree passed of old age.
