Human Rondilar

Rondilar are native to the Blood Sun system. They range between five and a half to six and a half feet in height, and their women are most often taller than their men on average. Rondilar have skin tones that range from a light rose pink all the way through the red spectrum to a deep brick red. Their eyes are of average size, although almond shaped, and tend to exhibit silvery, grey, or blue colors. Their hair is usually white or varying shades of grey.

If you choose to play a Rondilar human, modify your character as follows:

  • Add 1 to your Dexterity Ability.
  • Pick one of the following Ability Focuses: Intelligence (Healing) or Perception (Empathy).
  • Your Speed is equal to 10 + Dexterity (minus armor penalty if applicable).
  • Roll twice on the Rondilar Racial Benefits chart. These reflect inborn traits and natural tendencies in your folk, rather than anything you were trained or raised to.

  • +1 Ability: Increase the indicated Ability by +1.
  • Focus: Gain the indicated Ability Focus.
  • Blood-Speech: You are one of the rare Rondilar with the Blood-speech ability. You can speak mentally to anyone with whom you've exchanged non-saliva bodily fluids within the past year, as long as they are within one mile of you. This power is projective only - they can hear you, but you cannot hear them. You can also accomplish this by skin-to-skin touch, though it only lasts as long as you maintain physical contact.
  • Wild Gifted: You have a natural Wild Gift. Choose either Gifts of Mercy or Gifts of the Roots, and they are associated with Dexterity for you. They follow all the normal rules of a Wild Gift.
