Create Water Shapes

Riptide is shaping water in his environment into large constructs of dense water. He can create objects of up to 250 cubic feet in volume, of up to 6 tons in weight, with a Toughness of 8 (which is Impervious to damage of less than rank 5). These items tend to be simple in shape with no moving parts more complicated than a hinge. He can also:
- Trap a target in an object of water, requiring a Ranged Attack roll to hit and then the target gets a Dodge resistance check.
- Create cover for allies
- Drop an object, inflicting damage as an Area Effect attack (Dodge resistance for no damage), inflicting its Toughness in damage.
- Lift up or support up to 6 tons (or 12 tons with extra effort or by spending your action concentrating)
Bending Water

Riptide can move up to 250 cubic feet (up to 6 tons) of water that is anywhere within his perception. He can also:
- Spend a move action to focus, increasing the rank of his power by +1, to 500 cubic feet of water, or 12 tons.
- Make a Disarm attack to knock an item out of an enemy's grasp. Choose a target and make an opposed power rank check against target's Strength. If you win, the defender drops the object in question.
- Make a Grab attack to grapple an enemy. Target must succeed at a Strength or Dodge resistance check. If target fails, they are restrained (immobile + vulnerable), or if failed by two+ degrees, they are bound (defenseless + immobile + impaired). You can improve the strength of your hold by additional degrees of failure in subsequent turns. You can drag restrained or bound targets around, though target can resist with a successful Strength resistance check to keep from being moved.
- Make a Trip attack against a target. Choose a target and make an opposed power ranks check against target's Acrobatics or Athletics. If successful, target is prone.
Water Strike

Riptide can pull water out of the environment (or his own body when in water form!) and form a jet or lash of water to inflict damage on targets.
Water Form

By taking a move action to loosen the cohesion of his normally tightly held-together water form, Riptide can pass through any sort of opening or cracks in any non-watertight surface.
- As a move action, you can catch a falling person or object, reducing their damage by cushioning their fall. This reduces falling damage by your Toughness bonus. Both you and the one you catch must make damage resistance checks against the remaining damage, however.
