A massive armored behemoth of a vehicle, the Juggernaut served the Grand Army of the Republic as a troop carrier. Twice the size of the AT-TE, the interior is surprisingly roomy and can carry up to a company of fully equipped troops in individual jump seats on two decks. The forward section contains the command deck with crew positions, with a dedicated trauma bay with dedicated medic or medical droid. An extendable observation pod can be raised on a mast over the command deck to expand visibility, and a small bunker in the aft of the troop compartment houses a backup command deck and the rest of the gunnery stations. Though the Empire retired the Juggernaut in favor of the HCVw A9 turbo tank, many Juggernauts remained out in the galaxy at the end of the Clone Wars, and occasionally turn up as part of mercenary companies, militias, or even scavenger crews.
