- Alchemy, External (•• or ••••): Requires Occult •• or Science •• Character knows the secrets for transforming one kind of substance (common at ••, precious at ••••) into another.
- Alchemy, Internal (•• or ••••): Requires Occult ••, Medicine • Character knows the secrets of herbs and internal energy manipulations to refine the mind or body (••) or even become ephemeral (••••).
- Communion (•• or ••••): Character knows the secrets for connecting his consciousness to that of another entity, usually an otherworldly figure of some kind; this communion may be that of receiving wisdom alone (••) or of full communion (••••).
- Countermagic (•• or ••••): Requires Wits •• Character knows the secrets for disrupting the occult workings of others, first extending his senses to detect other such magics (••) and then performing a personal warding (••••).
- Curse of Ill-Fortune (•••): Requires Luck Magic •• or ••••, Persuasion • Character knows the secrets for inflicting bad luck on others.
- Divination (•••): Character knows the secrets for discerning the future.
- Dream (• to •••••): Character knows the secrets for entering a trance state and discovering facts and secrets.
- Dream Travel (•••): Requires Visionary Trances Character knows the secrets for psychically entering the dreams of others.
- Enchantment (•• or ••••): Character knows the secrets for perceiving and controlling others' emotions and desires, in either simple measure (••) or with deft precision (••••).
- Evocation (•• or ••••): Character knows the secrets for compelling a spirit or ghost to answer a summons (••) and even force it to obey her (••••); must choose spirits or ghosts, and may be purchased once for each.
- Familiar (••• or ••••): Requires Visionary Trances, Communion or Enchantment Character has a magical bond with a spirit, either one that is immaterial and invisible (•••) or one embodied in an animal form (••••).
- Favorable Fortune (•••): Requires Luck Magic Character knows the secrets for creating small shifts of good luck in his favor that occur through coincidental means.
- Geomancy (•••): Requires Intelligence ••, Crafts • Character knows the secrets for designing pleasing flows of energy in a location, granting benefits to the use of certain Attributes or Skills in those locations.
- Healing (••••): Requires Composure ••, Medicine • Character knows the secrets of healing wounds and diseases on herself and others.
- Invocation (•• or ••••): Character knows the secrets for compelling a spirit or ghost to answer a summons (••) and even grant it the ability to possess the character (••••); must choose spirits or ghosts, and may be purchased once for each.
- Library (• to •••): Character possesses a library of occult lore, one subject per dot.
- Longevity (•••••): Requires Medicine ••• and Alchemy (External or Internal) Character knows the secrets for expanding his life through elixirs or specialized techniques of internal alchemy.
- Luck Magic (•• or ••••): Character knows the secrets for granting himself tremendous luck, in the form of the 9-Again (••) or 8-Again (••••) properties.
- Magical Nexus (• to ••): Character has access to a magical nexus point which grants a bonus to magical operations equal to the rating of the Merit.
- Psychic Projection (••••): Requires Visionary Trances Character knows the secrets for projecting his mind into Twilight.
- Sacrifice (•): Character knows the secrets for performing sacrifices intended to grant aid and power to spiritual entities.
- Scrying (•••): Requires Wits ••, Occult • Character knows the secrets for viewing far-off places.
- Second Sight (•••): Requires Wits •• Character knows the secrets for peering into Twilight.
- See Auras (••): Requires Empathy •• Character knows the secrets for viewing psychic auras and emotional fields.
- See Spirits (••): Requires Visionary Trances Character has the innate ability to see spirits in Twilight, as well as other pieces of the spiritual landscape around her.
- Soul Jar (•• or ••••): Requires Second Sight Character knows the secrets for creating soul jars and trapping the souls of the dying or near-dead in them.
- Visionary Trances (•• or ••••): Requires Resolve •• Character knows the secrets for viewing the Shadow Realm (••) and even creating a body of ephemera to journey there (••••).
- Warding (•••): Requires Resolve ••, Occult • Character knows the secrets of creating a magical barrier of protection around people or places.
- Weather Control (••••): Character knows the secrets for magically manipulating the weather.
