Session 1: Of Mantles and Spurs: Sir Ruvald proposes knighting his square and Gemma taking him on as a household knight. Sir Nyle welcomes his sister to Houndsreach and they spot a furtive figure in the woods. Kalin discovers his sister is romantically involved with the squire Kyuso, and Sir Vericus plays Rooks against Sir Walrech Kylervus.
Session 2: The Feral Boy: Lady Indiya and her entourage are welcomed with a dinner. Sir Vericus and Dame Ysthre investigate the woods and discover a witch's hut, a gallows-tree, and a half-feral boy.
Session 3-4: The Winter Hunt: House Durwald travels to Rigmundus, with Lady Gemma and her court taking the Woodlodge, and the rest of them meeting up with Sir Mathau Cimbry's party of hunters.
- The first day of hunting results in a stag and old bandit tracks; the second sees a small scouting group finding an old bandit lair, while others hunt a sounder of boar. That night they are attacked from all sides by bandits; the knights and nobles rally and drive them off.
- The first day at the lodge sees some socializing and relaxation; the second sees a disturbance in the form of violence between neighbors and the Lady having to step in to allocate justice. That night, a vision awakens Lady Gemma, allowing her to prepare for an attack by five assassins, who seem to be after her and Lady Indiya! They are defeated, however.

Session 5: Winter Settles In: Covers last part of Frost Moon and first part of Winter Moon.
- Dealing with fallout of bandit attack on encampment, including bitterness from House Endicastre and Lord Erind Thielbus hewing a little closer to House Durwald.
- Rowena uses her connections to discover that all the assassins were hired out of the town of Tarnthis, in House Raugynn's territory. She also discovers that House Filendus was also attacked by bandits, but they are doing their best to keep that fact under wraps.
- Early winter passes as usual, with preparations being made to travel to House Kylervus' seat for the Feast of Light, House Endicastre recalling Xiphelle from handmaiden service with Lady Gemma, and Dame Ysthre is called to her brother's court to discuss the bandit attack. Lady Gemma begins having occasional dreams of a ghostly figure clad in spectral golden raiment.
- Word comes that Lord Erind Thielbus has fought and defeated raiders, but then tried to turn the attack back on them with their own boats, which ended in disaster. House Durwald offers its Academy-trained troops to bolster their defenses through the winter, while the two Houses plan to attack the bandit isle come spring.
- Lady Indiya becomes quite adored by her niece and nephew, and Sir Kaevan and Sir Nyle carry out a friendly intimacy together, leading to some questions from Idoren.
