Though House Segmundus was once known for its apple orchards, today they are among the most prolific producers of wheat sent around the Three-Rivers and beyond. Today, the House is small, made up only of the young lord and his younger brother and heir, and made even smaller by the recent death of Lady Imanore, Lord Markin's beloved consort, who died without issue.

The low-lying wetlands of the Segmundus domain have been turned into extensive wheat fields, providing a significant portion of food for the domain and the rest of the southern Three-Rivers. The hamlet of Walantar is home to Bear Hall, the seat of House Segmundus.
