- Edward "Blackbeard" Teach (Before his final battle)

Me I’m dishonest. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly, its the honest ones you want to watch out for because you never know when they are going to do something completely stupid!

Letters between brothers

Ever since Ruithondor left to be a pirate, the two brothers have exchanged letters. They have used it to share secrets and to pass on information to help each other profit, legally or not. Because of the sensitive nature they use a cypher they constructed and update when ever they are sitting down together in person. They also have a "safeword" they use to secretly inform the other if the cypher has been compromised. Rafenas suggested "cum whore" originally but Ruithondor pointed out that Rafenas calls their mother that too often to be practical. They settled on "dragon piss" which Rafenas used as many times as possible in his next letter.

Origin

Traits

Personality Traits

  • "My language is as foul as an otyugh nest."
  • Ideal: "I am a predator, and the other ships on the sea are my prey."
  • Bond: "I was cheated out of my fair share of the loot and I will get my due....with interest."
  • Flaws: "My pride will probably lead to my destruction. Once someone questions my courage, I never back down no matter how dangerous the situation."
  • Sexuality: Aggressive top. Mostly likes to fuck males because he feels more powerful and can "use" them harder. Generally always keeps rope around to string the poor soul up before he takes his pleasure. Making a partner squeal and squirm under him and beg him is his ultimate goal. Don't every fucking expect or ask for him to return the favor. You have been warned.

Half-Elf Traits

  • Charisma increased by 2 and two other traits increased by 1
  • Darkvision 60'
  • Fay Ancestry:
    • Advantage on saving throws against being charmed
    • Magic can't put me to sleep

Monk Traits

Martial Arts: When unarmed or with a monk weapon:

  • Use Dex for attack and damage rolls.
  • roll a d6 instead for damage (if you chose)
  • Can use bonus action to make an extra unarmed attack.

  • Step of the Wind (1 ki): Disengage or Dash as bonus action. Jump is doubled for this turn.
  • Deflect Missile (0-1 ki): Use reaction to reduce missile damage by 1d10 + 8. If reduced to 0 missile is caught and can be used to make a ranged attack with proficiency bonus for 1 ki.
  • Stunning Strike (1 ki): When you hit with a melee attack, target must make a Con saving throw or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

Open Hand Technique: When you hit with Flurry of Blows impose one of the following effects:

  • Target makes DEX save or is knocked prone
  • Target makes STR save or is pushed 15 feet away
  • It can't take reactions until end of your next turn

Extra Attack: Attack twice when you use attack action.
Slow Fall: Use reaction to reduce falling damage by 5x level

Pirate Feature

  • Bad Reputation: People are afraid of me due to my reputation. When in a civilized settlement I can get away with minor criminal offenses, such as refusing to pay for food at a tavern, since most people will not report your activity.

Important Individuals

Rafenas.jpg
Rafenas Birlond
Ruithondor's little brother
He is also a pirate, joining a crew after seeing how rich it made his older brother. He is a bard by trade but cunning and not past killing, after he has fucked with his victim's mind. He loves his big brother and Ruithondor...tolerates his little brother. Ruithondor is protective of him but also realized a long time ago that his little brother can not only take care of himself, but really...really...REALLY is not one to be messed with.
Hatchet.jpg
Hatchet
Crime Boss of Yartar
The iconic killer of the Twice-Born, the Hatchet - called so for his preferred weapon - now acts in the place of the Twice-Born in Yartar. You have left him in charge, and his plan for keeping power is simple: he intends to act as though the Twice-Born are still there, and he continues to be their agent.
Irmos-nendalee-orlane.jpg
Irmos "Lady Nendalee" Orlane
Tiefling Drag Queen
Irmos is the bastard child of one of the Magistrates of Waterdeep, the black-robe named Rarg Menener. The young tiefling hides his true nature, by and large, through a outwardly devilish drag persona, as "Lady Nendalee." In this way, he can easily pass off any of his actual infernal traits as simply gimmicky make-up, even when he's not in drag (with its over-exaggerated demonic flare).
