It is the year 644 after the Ruusan Reformation, wherein the Jedi returned to their roots as a peaceful, monastic order. They returned control of the Republic military to the Senate, and retreated into their meditations and itinerant ways. For more than six hundred years, the Jedi have focused on the attainment of peace both within and without, of assisting those in need of help, of making the Galaxy a better place as best they might, and above all, in exploring the emanations of the Force.
Our story begins with five younglings, newly successful from their Initiate Trials, and just having accomplished their Gathering successfully. All younglings of the Heliost Clan in the Temple, known for its insight and desire to know more, they have been accepted as padawans by Jedi who are stationed aboard the Chu'unthor, one of the Jedi Order's mighty praxeum ships. Soon, they will be on their way to seeing the wonders and the dangers of the Outer Rim aboard the academy-ship, learning in both classroom and out in the field, accompanying their masters on the missions they receive as part of the duties of the mighty Chu'unthor.
