Residences

  • Villa of House Agundar (3): A four-building compound around central gardens, with two large residences, a modest smithy where the scions of the family are taught the handling of the forge, and a set of offices and barracks for the family's mercenary interests.
  • Villa of House Adarbrent (4): A four-building compound around a central gardens, featuring two large private residences, a tall tower with a shrine to Valkur, and a set of offices for the Lord and the Adarbrent Fleet Masters.
  • Villa of House Phylund (5): A three-building compound with a cobbled courtyard that often sees use as training space for some of the beasts raised by the House, featuring two large residences (the southernmost of which bears public offices for the House's businesses), and a small menagerie building.

Businesses

  • Bephel's Bottles, Exotic Wines & Cordials (1): Shop (Wines & Alcohol) (5c). One of the finest spirits shops in Waterdeep, specializing in having the widest offerings from around Faerûn. Their small size belies their actual business, for many of their customers simply have them ship their purchases directly from warehouse to residences, without ever entering the shop.
  • The Tirelessly Turning Wheel (6): Shop (Curios from around Faerûn) (4c). A vast and wonderful curio shop, with oddities and interesting gew-gaws from around most of the known world, and a few other places besides.
  • Meraedos Fine Furs (9): Shop (Furs) (4c). The furs shop of the Gentleman Keeper (Guild Contact) of the Solemn Order of Recognized Furriers and Woolmen, Shalrin Meraedos, revered for the fine quality and affordability of his wares.
  • Sulmest's Splendid Shoes & Boots (10): Shop (Shoes) (5c). A frighteningly expensive shop for footwear, but their guarantees on craftsmanship bear up as well as their fashionable boots do.

Guildhalls

  • The House of Crystal (7): Guild of Glassblowers, Glaziers and Speculum-Makers. A window-heavy building known as being a source of fine crystal balls and mirrors. It also has a warehouse out back that if offers to its members for storage of their goods (as glass shops tend to be light on space).

Nightlife

Inn

  • The Galloping Minotaur (8): Inn (4c•3a). An inn well-favored among visiting merchants that has had to expand its operations to two other buildings and implement Waterdeep's first advance bookings system. Known as a busy place with lots of overstuffed merchants, bustling messengers, and secret passages by which the servants get around.

Festhalls

  • The Gentle Mermaid (2): Gambling House (4c•4p). One of the largest gambling houses in all of Faerun, and a luxurious place to see and be seen among the fabulously wealthy and powerful.

Other Features

  • Manycats Alley: A strange alley known for two things: the many alley cats that dine on the leavings of various butcher shops located along its length, and the many carved stone heads that adorn building along the alley. It is widely believed that the heads speak aloud from time to time, uttering cryptic messages.
