As the years have passed, the expansive villas of the Cliffride have come to be used as rental properties, rented out to ambassadorial missions, visiting nobility, and wealthy guests of the city (alongside the occasional adventuring party that wishes to spend lavishly on their bloodily gotten gains for a season or two).
